She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent "Skipper" Peter Joseph Hecht; her son-in-law Retired Major Thomas Peak; and her siblings, Eugene, Cecil, Boniface "Bonnie", Martin Bestgen, Virginia Schuster, Eleanor Knipp and Catherine Lutz.
She is survived by: her children, Mary June, Melinda Elizabeth Peak of Centertown and William "Bill" Hecht (Sandra) of Lenexa, KS; her grandson Robert Louis Hecht-Ren (Vanessa Ren); her great grandchildren, Kallan Vincent of Overland Park, KS and Tesla June of Overland Park, KS; her grandson William Colin Hecht I (Hannah Marie); her great grandchildren, William Colin II of Blue Springs, MO, Emerson Lee of Blue Springs, MO, Ashtyn Marie of Blue Springs, MO and Declan June of Blue Springs, MO; and her caregiver Sarah Nolt.
