She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Nau (Heiland); her husband Robert Vest Hirst, Jr.; and her daughter Tina Hirst-Cooper. She is survived by: her father Vernon Nau; her children, Jeannette Daniel (Jon), Rob Hirst (Deb) and Lawrence Cooper (Tracy); and her siblings, Diana Hirst (Paul) and Lester Nau (Sharon). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Andrew Catholic Church.
