He was predeceased by: his parents, George Farris and Myrtle Irene Gross; and his siblings, Denver Ray, Elbert Roy, Walter Frank Gross, Minny Marie Phoenix and Mary Francis Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Dobson; his stepchildren, Jody Romig (Tabby) and April Kirchner (Wes); his son Joel Yoest (Dawn); his grandchildren, Hunter (Tate Kirchner), Chris (Brittney Romig), Hayden and Ella (Porter Yoest); and his siblings, Alonzo Mac Gross, Verna Dean Brownfield, Georgia Fern Jones and Joan Mae Jones. He is also survived by His dogs and his neighbor's dogs were some of his best friends.
