She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Johnson and Wilma Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Joe of Tipton; her son Steven Nichols; her stepsons, Jeffrey Price and Kendal Price (Kelly); her goddaughter Mackenzie Jo Lutz; her siblings, Bobbi Jones (Scott), Gail Shotts (Treva), Bryan Peters (Kim) and Jay Johnson (Brenda); her grandson Justin Hawkins; and her stepgrandchildren, Kaitlin, Kallie, Gabrielle, Oliver, Morie and Aubriette. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cathie's memory to the Central Missouri Humane Society, reflecting her lifelong love for animals and her dedication to their well-being.
