She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Ed" Steele and Gertrude Steele (McNeal); her husband Marlin Schroeder; and her siblings, Alma Davis, Clara Peoples, Opal Thomas, Anna Belle Steele, Nora Cramer, Jim Steele and Wray Steele.

She is survived by: her daughter Jane Schroeder of Tipton.
