He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Tharp (Brecht); and his son Brayden. He is survived by: his father Paul Tharp; his spouse Hellene Mae Henrichs; his grandson Brayden Kress Tharp; his children, Michael Tharp Kevin Tharp, Tina, Brandt, Jax James, Melissa, Olivia, Alvin Long, Tucker, Everly, Morgan (Eli Mertens) and Alexander Melanie; and also, David Tharp and James "Buddy" Henrichs.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to and consider volunteering some time to your favorite local Charity.
