He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Heussner and Myrtle Heussner (Maas); his grandson Blane Heussner; and his siblings, Russell Heussner, Donald Heussner, Raymond Heussner and Helen Jefferies.
He is survived by: his wife Skip; his sons, Steven Nier (Jessica), Brett Heussner (Cherie) and Scott Heussner (Traci); his grandchildren, Drew Nier (Courtney), Katie Baker (Corey), Alex Heussner, Cortnie Vandiver (Caleb), Shelbi Kaullen (Josh), Hunter Heussner and Tucker Heussner; his great grandchildren, Lieryn Baker, Brooks Baker, Chase Kaullen, Walker Kaullen and Collyns Vandiver; his brother Ed Heussner (Betty); and his sisters-in-law, Dee Heussner of Hale, Sandee Heussner of Florida, Jean Heussner of Hale and Nancy Wilkison of Elburn, Illinois.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lindley Funeral Home - Hale (309 Main St, Hale, MO 64643).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NICU at Children's Mercy and/or NICU Research Hospital and/or Shirkey Hospice, Carrollton, Missouri, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
