She is survived by: her husband Michael Hatcher; her sons, Michael Hatcher II (Kailee) and Aaron Hatcher; and her siblings, Steve Sabel, Stuart Sabel (Katie Maychild) and Lori Sabel (Jim Black). She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe page is set up to help construct the "Joy" cabin at Briar Creek Retreat.
