He was predeceased by: his parents, O. J. Cheek and Marie Cheek (Rogers); and his brother Doyle. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Cheek; and his siblings, Paulette Dillinger (Doyle), Mary Ann Angus (Bill), Bobby Cheek (Ruby), Tommie Cheek (Jackie) and Johnny Cheek (Darla). He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
