She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Vaughn and Bertha Vaughn; her husband Willie Kornegay; and her sisters, Eunice Weigant and Mildred Burris.
She is survived by: her former husband Winfred Norris Kornegay; her sons, Winfred Norris "Buddy" Kornegay (Linda) of Mondamin, Scott Nathaniel Kornegay (Debbie) of Charlotte and Jeffrey Vaughn Kornegay (Karen) of Thayer, Missouri; her grandchildren, Kara Icard, Kirk Kornegay, Alan Kornegay and Ryan Kornegay; her great grandchildren, Noah Icard, Nathaniel Icard, Lilly Icard, Chelsie Kornegay and Ryan Kornegay, Jr.; and her sisters, Ruby Seagraves of Fresno, Edith Pope (David) of Lacy, Carlene Plante (Wayne), Kathy Hardin (Gary) of Madera and Linda Okada (Ron). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
