He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Ray Ary; his stepfather Gene Hatman; and his brothers, Tony Ary, Ray Ary, Jay Ary and Andy Hatman.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ary; his mother Pat Hatman (Miller); his sons, Zach (Brittany Ary) and Nick (Katie Ary); his grandchildren, Keagan, Brylee Jo, Beckett Wayne, Paizleigh, Sebastian, Briley and Braelynn; his sisters, Denise (John Davis), Andrea (Eric Bowman) and Destiny (Markus Black); and his pet Mason. He is also survived by family and friends including his best friend.
