He was predeceased by: his son Robert Shiverdecker. He is survived by: his parents, Wendall Reid Pittman and Jewell Forsyth Pittman; his wife Connie Pittman; his children, Kelly Pittman (Marylin), Kevin Pittman and Amanda Huskey (Troy); his grandchildren, Kendall Pittman, Keyshawn Pittman (Molly), Ariel Crabtree (Larry, Jr.), Chloe Huskey, Maisie Pittman and Trenton Huskey (Abby); his great grandchildren, Kutler Pittman, Myra Pittman, Kollin Pittman and Harper Huskey; and his sisters, Lawanda Green (Richard), Jean Gray (Dennis), Brenda Risner (Ronnie) and Gail Bell (John). He is also survived by other relatives; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help pay for Kerry's funeral.
