She was predeceased by: her parents, Ryuon Hayashi and Umeyo Hayashi. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Raymond Sloan (Kathy) of Lebanon, Robert Sloan of Florida and Linda Ryan of Austin, Texas; her nephews, George Goto (Joanne Boland) and Takakiyo Goto of Yamanashi, Japan; her niece Yoko Watanabe of Osaka, Japan; her great-niece Chikako Ng (Boon) of Los Angeles, California; her friends, Lisa and Johnny Shipp; her spouse Sergeant Zane L. Sloan; her sister Nobuko; and her daughter Hannah. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
