He is survived by: his wife Kathie Carpenter; his children, Penny Pennington (Paul) of Winfield, KS, David Kerwin of Thayer, MO and Adam Kerwin (Krystal) of Winfield, KS; his stepchildren, Crystal Martin (Robert) of Thayer, MO and Derrick Murphy (Brittany) of Springfield, MO; and his siblings, Ron Kerwin of Fremont, NE, Mike Kerwin (Sue) of Phoenix, AZ and Ilene Rhodman of Winfield, KS. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; also many "adopted" children, other relatives and friends.
