Freda Caldwell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2022, at the age of 87, Freda Caldwell of Thayer, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee Hurtt and Grace McHenry Hurtt; her son Doug Caldwell; her grandson Landon Caldwell; and her siblings, Eugene Hurtt, Earl Hurtt, Boyd Hurtt, Lorene Young, Retha Frizzell, Fae and Mae Hurtt.

She is survived by: her husband J. C.; her children, Steve Caldwell (Leisa) of Maryville, Stanley Caldwell (Regina) of Thayer, Missouri, Sherry Smith of Thayer and Shelly Leisenring (Dennis) of Nixa, Missouri; her grandchildren, Craig Smith (Becca) of Nixa, Lauren Rudd (Josh) of Maryville, Rachel Harris (Billy) of Thayer, Jered Smith (Summer) of West Plains, Adam Caldwell (Brittany) of Springfield, C. J. Leisenring (Abbie) of Harrisburg, Dylan Smith (Heather) of West Plains, Derek Leisenring (Tiffany) of Valparaiso, Lendl Caldwell (Sarah) of Knoxville, Shayna Caldwell of Springfield, Ethan Leisenring (Sarah) of Nixa, Leslie McIntosh (Weston) of Mansfield, Travis Smith of West Plains and Cody Caldwell of Thayer, Missouri; and her sisters-in-law, Anita Caldwell, Shirley Caldwell and Doris Hurtt. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren.
