He is survived by: his wife Shirley Caldwell; his children, Rocky Gene Caldwell (Cheryl) and Rhonda Choate of West Plains, Missouri; his grandson Brock Caldwell (Megan) of Rogers, Arkansas; his great grandchildren, Hannah and Haddon; his brother J. C. Caldwell (Freda); and his sister-in-law Anita Caldwell. He is also survived by other relatives; and many friends.
