Alan Simer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Simer of Thayer, Missouri, who passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dale and Gerldene Simer (Nally); his wife Jean Simer; his daughter Vonda Kay Simer Overbeck; his grandson Tyler Owner Simer; and his siblings, Glene Kolanoski, Verna Phifer, Robert Simer and Melton Van SimerInterment.
He is survived by: his brother Dale Gene Simer of DeQueen, Arkansas; his sons, Danny Simer (Maggie) of Mountain Home and Scotty Simer of Thayer, Missouri; his grandchildren, Sam Simer (Annalise), Anthony Simer (Bethani), Rachel Braim, Maddy, Evan, Eric and Isaac Simer; and also Mary Madden. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; a host of brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and dear friends; and one very special friend.
