He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Anthony and Martha Della James (Hodgson); his siblings, Eplhy, Owen, Othel, Clenton, Jewel, Gracie, Clifford, Clarice and Vanton; and his granddaughter Stephanie.
He is survived by: his wife Francis; and his children, David James of Mount Vernon, MO, Richard McHaffie of Owasso, OK, Victoria Green of Mount Vernon, MO and Tammy McHaffie of Mount Vernon, MO.. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
