He was predeceased by: his father John R. Hunter; his siblings, Jeffrey M. Hunter and Jean Kinsella; and his mother Norma M. Hunter. He is survived by: his son Cris Hunter; his daughter-in-law Cherise Stringham of Everett, Washington; and his grandson John Magnus Hunter.
