He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Novamisle and Ben Rubin, Sr.; and his brothers, Abner and Sidney. He is survived by: his wife Debra Fleider; his daughters, Sheila (Dr. Ken Sonnenschein), Tanya Rubin and Rachel Rubin; his grandchildren, Morgan, Avi, Pearl and Gabriella Sonnenschein; his daughters, Talia and Kaiya Walsh (Jake Williams); his sons-in-law, David Williams and Matt Walsh; and his caregiver Gina Wise.

We were very fortunate to have him take care of our children As mentioned in the obituary, he called to check on both children, seeing them at the office off 18th St. in KCK. He was always personable and kind and gave excellent advice--and he had a sense of humor. Our children also appreciated him. Please accept our condolences. What an exemplary life he led.
