He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Ewing and Lillian Redman Ewing (Brooks); his wife Dorothy Ann Ewing (Roewe); his son David; his siblings, Geraldine O'Toole (Ray), Gladys Miller (John), Juanita Attebery (W. T.) and Irven Ewing (Margaret Ann); and his brother-in-law Ed Daro.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Ewing and Roger Ewing of Tebbetts; his grandchildren, Miranda Pautz (Scott) of Wisconsin and Derek Ewing (Mackenzie) of Fulton; his great grandchildren, Keegan, Nataleigh Pautz, Kodie, Levi and Desirae Ewing; and his sister Hazel Daro of Fairbanks, Alaska..
