He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Edward and Anna Thelma Koelling (Freeman); and his siblings, Elaine Bareis (Marvin), Cletus Koelling (Ann), Jim Koelling and Donna Burre.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Perry Burre; his nieces and nephews, Tina Marie Burre Butler, John Wayne Burre (Deborah), Carla Scruggs, Dale Koelling (Donna), Lori Hutson (Larry) and Shelly Koelling; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda Koelling (Aaron Starkey), Chad Daniels, Taylor Scruggs, Roxanne Scruggs (Ryan Garmeson), Curtis Burre, Kyle Burre (Leann), David Burre, Emily Butler-Oquendo (Danny) and Nicole Butler; and his close friends, Robert Stickley and Jay Martindale.
