He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Burre and Erna Mae Burre (Bretthorst); and his sister Alberta Dollens. He is survived by: his wife Glenna R. Burre (Reifsteck); his daughter Shanna Marshall (Shannon L. Marshall) of Tebbetts; his granddaughter Lauren Jewel Quinn; and his siblings, Perry Burre (Donna) and Betty Meyer (Charlie).
