He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Noah L. and Mary K. Alsup (Sybert); his child Damon Carter (Kate); his father-in-law Ivan Carter (Claire); his sister-in-law Cathy Carter; his wife Mary Beth Alsup; his child Leigh Beth (Tim Merrigan); his grandchildren, Jessi, Matthew, Dawson, Gianna and Barrett; and his siblings, Dan Alsup (Marcia), Bill Alsup (Veronica), Marilyn Jensen (Jim), Jeff Alsup (Lori), Jennifer Alsup (Gail), James Alsup and Samantha Siddens.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Home. A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to New Nodaway Humane Society or Village Care Center, Maryville.
