It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Lou Gibbons in Tarkio, Missouri, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Emmett and Nora Jane Vance (Turner); her husband Jack Gibbons; and her siblings, Robert "Bob" Vance, Paul Vance, Margaret Hannah, Evaline Riley, Alice Campbell, Irene Smith, Dorothy Ballinger, Darrell Vance, Roberta Mae Vance, Norman Vance, Don Vance, Roy Vance and Reva Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tami McCurdy (Jon) of Platte City, Jana Hessemyer (Kevin) of Platte City and Tina Sutter (Jason) of Platte City; her grandchildren, Ashley McCurdy, Aaron, Megan, Logan Hessemyer, Reid and Jack Sutter; her siblings, David Vance of Tarkio and Mary Hope of Tarkio; and her close friends, David McEnaney (Megan), Rachel Stanton (Jay) and Denise Sanders (Kevin). She is also survived by children and numerous nieces and nephews.
