He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther William, Sr. and Mary Esther Hudson (Adams); and his wife Maxine Hudson. He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Staples (Todd); his granddaughter Farrah Fink (Jon); his great grandchild Madelyn June Fink; and his nephews, Rick Bradley (Lawna) and Joey Bradley (Amy).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association .
