He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Merriett and Judy Merriett (Tunnell). He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie Hurst (Bryan) and Jim Merriett (Charlotte); and his close friend Yolanda Engstrand. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Home Cemetery.
