Helen Barr Obituary
The memory of Helen Barr (Tarkio, Missouri), born in West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on November 29, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Leo and Catherine Marie Uhing (Wortmen); her husband Merle Barr of Patrick's Catholic Church; and her son Kim Barr. She is survived by: her children, Larry Barr, Robin Whittington (Jim) and Carla Riley (Gary); her grandchildren, Toby, Carrie, Jamie, Tara, Shannon and Bridget; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Remington, Jordan, Lexi, Will, Payton and William. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Church (908 Elm St, Tarkio, MO 64491). A Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Tekamah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Helen Barr Memorial Fund for final expenses.
