He is survived by: his wife Shirley Vawter; his children, Gerry Vawter (Kathy) and Jeanne Dirkschneider (Glen); his grandchildren, Jacob, Jennifer, Aaron and Jace; and his great grandchild Sutton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
