He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Douglas and Alma Lee Peoples (Combs). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sue Doza; his children, Miranda Peoples of Syracuse, MO, Christina Gutierrez (Tony) of Syracuse, MO and Michael Peoples (Elizabeth) of Columbia, MO; and his siblings, Blenda O'Brien of Tipton, MO, Virginia Hibdon (Carl) of Tipton, MO, Dixie Reigel (Albert) of Jefferson City, MO and Mitchel Peoples of Tipton, MO. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandson.

The family is requesting no flowers and instead suggests memorial contributions to Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Olive Branch Cemetery and may be left in the care of the funeral home.
