It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Cox of Sweet Springs, Missouri, born in Marshall, Missouri, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her stepfather Lester Carrender; her former husband Donald Lee Pummill; her husband James A. Cox; her son Paul Eugene Pummill of Sweet Springs; her grandsons, Sean Michael Pummill and Donald Eugene Brown III; and her nephew Greg Albert Butler.
She is survived by: her mother Joan; her daughter Wanda Gaddy of Sweet Springs; and her siblings, Franklin Carrender of Sweet Springs, Debbie Walker (Mitchell) of Sedalia, MO, Sheila Guier (George) of Florence, MO and Mark Carrender (Grace) of Lee's Summit, MO. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
