Jean Lear Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Lear of Sweet Springs, Missouri, born in Higginsville, Missouri, who passed away on November 6, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Schowengerdt and Olga Arndt Schowengerdt; and her husband Forrest H. Lear. She is survived by: her children, Michael Lear (Lana) of Sweet Springs, Patricia Lear-Johnson (Jerry) of Belton, MO and Joe K. Lear (Lori Wright-Lear) of St. Joseph, MO; her grandsons, Ryan Lear (Tracy) and Josh Johnson (Tracy); her great grandchildren, Rhianna Johnson, Colton and Jaxson Lear; and her siblings, Robert Schowengerdt of Kansas City, MO and Dorothy Begemann of Odessa, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Face masks are strongly encouraged and social distancing will be observed.
