He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Cox and Fredonia Cox (Long); and his sister Sherry Truex. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cox; his children, David Cox (Lyndsey) and Tina Bright (Curtis); and his grandchildren, Breanna Dohrman (Colby), Ashleigh Foster (James), Nicole Snider (Zane), Gabriel Cox and Joseph Cox. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mt. Zion Christian Church (Dunksburg) and left in care of the funeral home.
