She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur A. Gieseke Sr. and Anna Klingenberg Gieseke; her husband Paul A. Richardson; and her siblings, Mildred Meyer, Minerva Tieman and Arthur A. Gieseke Jr..

She is survived by: her sister Alleen Meyer of Sweet Springs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and three children.
