He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Steinkuhler and Flora Miller Steinkuhler; his wife Helen Louise Shay; his son Greg Steinkuhler; and his son-in-law Monroe Akeman.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Steinkuhler (Pat) of Sweet Springs, Chuck Steinkuhler (Diane) of Sweet Springs and Vickie Akeman of Sweet Springs. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
