He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Thornsberry and Betty Thornsberry (Thomas); his siblings, Howard Thornsberry, Mary Mckee and Nina Lou Thornsberry; and his son-in-law Larry Watts.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian; his children, Sue Watts of Brunswick, Larry Thornsberry (Lois) of Lee's Summit and Linda Lewis (Steve) of Gretna, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Terry Watts (Carla) of Sumner, Tonya Dallas (John) of Blue Springs, Jeff Thornsberry (Gretchen) of Maryville, Chris Thornsberry (Melissa) of Pleasant Hill, Andy Lewis (Darci) of Crestwood, Matt Lewis of Gretna and Missy Schere (George) of Wayerly, Nebraska; and his sister Ruth Daugherty of Chillicothe. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
