He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Epperson and Ethel Epperson (Bloss); his stepfather Homer Douglas; his daughter Carlinda Epperson; and his brothers, Eddie Epperson and Jerry Epperson.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Goddard; his children, Shuana McBee of Sumner, Racheal Simpson (Mike) of Butler, Carl Robert Montgomery (Sharlene) of Sumner and Homer Epperson (Stephanie) of Brookfield; and his brothers, Keith Epperson (Shirley) of Rothville, Max Epperson (Betty) of Abingdon and Donnie Epperson (Shirley) of Marceline. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
