He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Shafer and Mabel Shafer (Light); and his in-laws, Matthew and Eleanor Deady (Snodgrass). He is survived by: his wife Jean Shafer (Deady); his daughter Heather Howell (Clark); his grandson Ethan Howell (Sarah); his great grandchild Matthew Howell; his granddaughter Aubrey Odom (Ryan); his brother Edward Shafer (Corine); his nephews, Randy and Daryl Shafer; and also, Daryl Shafer and Randy.
A reception was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Shafer Family Farm Residence.
