He is survived by: his wife Karon Carpenter (Terrill); his children, Dena Carpenter and Charles Carpenter (Kay); his grandchildren, Rebecca Flagg (Mike) and Alex Carpenter; and his mother-in-law Wilma-Lee Terrill. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
