He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Otis Grimes Sr. and Myrtice Grimes (Hancock); and his grandson Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Collins; his children, Edward Grimes (Gina), Stacy Rosales (Diego), Sylvia Goen (Brian) and Tracy Killian (Daniel); his stepchildren, Jaycee Collins (Jeremy), Richard Collins (Desiree) and Beth Collins (Keith); his grandchildren, Dustin, Destiny, Colby, Elaina, Riley, Mandi, Megan, Malea, Madison, Trenton, Mackenzi and Mikhaela; his stepgrandchildren, Logan, Shaylee, Joleah, Bentley, Kabella, Ryker, Jaycee, Jessie, Jocelyn, Kinley and Asa; his sister Loretta Lee (James); his niece Tami Harney (Kenneth); and his nephew Gavin McCarty (Deborah). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in Buster's memory be made to the Valley Center Baptist Church.
