With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jo Bandy of Summersville, Missouri, born in Hannibal, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Richard Jackson Jr. (Jamie) and Marjorie Jackson (Banks); her brother James Lawrence Jackson (Larry); and her son Jeffery Bandy. She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia Jo McVicker of Rolla, MO; her daughter-in-law Leann Bandy of Columbia, MO; her grandchildren, Wesley, Sheila McVicker of Kansas City, MO, Elizabeth McVicker of Columbia, MO, Michael Bandy of West Plains, MO, Adam, Samantha Bandy of Alton, MO, Harley and Avery Bandy of Columbia, MO.; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Gabby, Tatum, Kian and Wyatt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bradford Funeral Home (305 N Main Ave, Summersville, MO 65571). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Summersville City Cemetery.
