It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Smith (Sullivan, Missouri), who passed away on September 6, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phillip Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Smith and Clara Smith (Eitel); his brothers, Charles Smith and Gail Smith; and his brother-in-law Danny Neely.
He is survived by: his children, Yellow Creek Baptist, Melody Wagstaff (Jason) of O'Fallon, MO, Phillip E. Smith of Portales, NM and Nick Smith (Jessica) of Green City, MO; his grandchildren, Sebastian Wagstaff and Boone Smith; and his sisters, Rosie Rhodes (Harve) of Browning, MO, Carolyn Brummitt (Butch) of Kirksville, MO and Catherine Neely of Milan, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Phillip are suggested to Mt Olivet cemetery or the Green Castle cemetery for the continuation upkeep and replacement of flags.
