He is survived by: his parents, Nikolai Hongisto and Alma M. (Ronn); and his children, Gayle Gawer of Sullivan, Joanne Bott (Lewis) of Bourbon, MO, Carol Hardaway (Joe) of Helena, AL, Lisa Massey (Bradley) of Leasburg, MO and Wayne "Butch" Hongisto (Marilyn) of Sullivan. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
