He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Choate and Segretta Choate (Colbert); and his father-in-law Fred Purviance. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Montgomery; his daughters, Heather Choate (Mike Cherry) of Bourbon, Tiffany Ritter (Zach) of Hondo, TX and Haley Van Wyk (Kyle) of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Birdie, Jett, Brooks, Maren, Hudson, Hazel, Kade, Jackson, Brantley, Hayden, Madi and Bryce; his brothers, Donnie Choate (Maggie) of Magnolia, TX, Jamie Choate (Carmen) of Katy, TX and John Choate of Saint Ann, MO; and his mother-in-law Linda Purviance. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
