He is survived by: his wife Doris Spencer (Huff) of Sullivan, Missouri; his stepchildren, Joe Pendergrass (Stacy) of Sullivan and Susan Wells (Nicholas) of Saint Louis, Missouri; his grandchildren, Anna Pendergrass, Nathaniel Wells, Alexander Wells, Anderson Pendergrass and Adalyn Pendergrass; and his nephew Fred Birkett (Melissa).
