He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Syble Summers (Harmon) and John Summers; and his brother Kelley Summers. He is survived by: his former wife Nora Cadenhead; his wife Janice Summers of Sullivan, MO; his daughter Lisa Ann Haywood (Brian) of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Evan of St. Charles, MO, Courtney of St. Charles, MO and Madelyn Haywood of St. Charles, MO; his stepdaughters, Deanna Fitzgerald (Scott) of Washington, MO and Lisa Donovan (Jim) of Weeki Wachee, FL; and also, Cara Fitzgerald, Brandon Fitzgerald, Jimmy Donovan and Dylan Donovan. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID, the Summers family will be having a private Celebration of Life Gathering, for family only, on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. Any family attending will be required to wear a mask.
