Karen Marie (Mehling) Cooksey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2024, Karen Marie (Mehling) Cooksey of Sullivan, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Mehling and Anna Mehling (Huntsinger); her brother Mike Mehling; and her mother-in-law Thela Cooksey. She is survived by: her husband Irvin Cooksey of Sullivan, MO; her daughters, Anna Yeary of Sullivan, MO, Edna Quick (Ron) of Bourbon, MO and Sylvia Nelson (Johnny) of Bourbon, MO; her siblings, David Mehling (Marie), James Butrum, Sharon Long and Philip Hafling; her father-in-law Irvin Cooksey Sr. of Salem, MO; her grandchildren, Shane Bergner, Cody Calvin, Mary Cooksey, Olvia McCurdy and Emma McCurdy; and her great grandchildren, Esimae and Ella. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Mortuary - Salem (1000 Scenic Rivers Blvd, Salem, MO 65560). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
