We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2024, at the age of 79, Judith Messex To Be of Sullivan, Missouri, born in Fort Pierce, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Brugnone (Mary "Delores"); her husband Henry Messex, Sr.; her mother Delores Brugnone; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Zekoll, Anna Mae Neier, Joe Selby, Jim Vanderpool, Joe Messex, John Messex, Jim Messex, Tom Messex and Jerry Messex.
She is survived by: her children, David Messex (Amy) of Bourbon and Mary E. Messex of Sullivan; her sisters, Janice Selby of Paducah, KY, Jeannie Parsell (Scott) of Jerseyville, IL and Johnnie Jonell Brugnone (David) of Eureka; her grandchildren, Colby Messex, Brandon Messex (Rebecca) and Bryanna Cahill (Justin); her great grandchildren, Luke Messex, James Messex, Alexander Messex, Ella Cahill and Alaina Cahill; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Vanderpool of Gerald and Pearl Courtway of Gerald. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Midlawn Funeral Home (7280 State Hwy 47, Union, MO 63084). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Midlawn Memorial Gardens (7280 State Hwy 47, Union, MO 63084).
