He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Hallam and Flossie Hallam (Templeton); his son Steven Hallam; his brothers, Edward and Harold Hallam; and his stepgrandson Daniel Schatz.

He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen Hallam (Collins); his wife Doris Hallam of Sullivan; his sons, Joe Hallam (Glenda), Roger Hallam (Pat) of Imperial, MO, Greg Hallam (Paula) of St. Charles, MO, Ronnie Hallam (Mary), Brian Hallam of Fairfield, IL and Kelvin Hallam (Brenda) of Mount Vernon, IL; his stepchildren, Carmen Bartolotta of Sullivan, Chara Schatz (Dave) of Sullivan and Charles Cuneio (Gwen) of Sullivan; and his half-brother Kenneth Nale of Fairfield, IL. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
