He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Ficke and Wilma Ficke (Crabtree); his in-laws, Charlie and Nina Thoms; his brothers, Larry Ficke, Lee Edward Ficke and Ronald Ficke; his siblings-in-law, Claude Abshier and Monda Ficke; and his nephews, Jason Clark and Larry W. Ficke Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy Ficke of Sullivan, Missouri; his son Jim Ficke Jr. (Jessica); his granddaughters, Lea, Sara Ficke, Madison, Lindsey, Kristin Sprung of Leslie, MO, Amy Ficke and Mary Sprung; his sister Patricia Abshier of Kansas City, Missouri; his siblings-in-law, Richard Thoms (Cindy), Robbie Thoms, Lrene Ficke, Darlene Phares and Nancy Clark (Roy); and his nephew Tim Abshier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
